The
Statement of UNA-UNSO concerning
the repressions, which have been organized by the minister of Justice of
Since 30, December 2004 and until now everywhere in
The
representatives of the Ministry of Justice of
·
do total tests of the Organization members (even its supporters (!?) who somewhere or sometime have expressed their sympathy to the
Organization in oral or written form) for
belonging to the Organization, brutally charging into citizens’ houses on
Christmas and New Year holidays; ·
summon citizens to the local
bodies of justice in order to testify the belonging to “fascist” organization of
UNA-UNSO; ·
demand the written confirmation of membership
in the Organization and written explanation of belonging or support (!?); ·
make public the information in
place of employment or living that a person belongs or supports “fascist”
organization of
UNA-UNSO; ·
intimidate members and
supporters of the Organization by future repressions and problems, if
they do not renounce their belonging to the Organization and confirm in written
form that they has never supported UNA-UNSO; ·
threaten with the retrieval
(!?) of Organization members who are not in the proper place they should be
according to the opinion of the Ministry of Justice! The
aim – to “wring” the evidences, mainly in the written form, from the
Organization members and supporters that they never belonged to UNA-UNSO or,
marginally, supported it. Large-scale,
brutality, impudence and totality of the means being used are striking! Never in
UNA-UNSO history there were such persecution, and the veterans of the
Organization do not remember such scale of the repressions against the members
of public organizations even in the Soviet times!! Probably
the leaders of the Ministry of Justice think that by all these repressive and
illegal means they can ingratiate themselves with “new”
regime!? Anyway,
the head members of the Organization remember from the school period who is Mr.
Lavrynovych and how “flexible” he can be in order to cringe to “new”
powers. We
consider that such unexampled scale of the repressions could be organized with
the blessing of some structures of the law machinery, which have been waging
undeclared war on the Organization more then ten years. Before
the parliament elections of
2002 these structures managed to seize the leadership of UNA by the
hands of their agent and lackey Edward Kovalenko, aiming to destroy the
Organization not by repressions but laugh… They
also organized and financed his “fascist” marches and “speeches” during the
president election campaign in
2004. They are
very unsatisfied because their organization had hardly started a next
provocation when UNA-UNSO
gives a refutation concerning it… That
is the main reason of the repressions of 2005 that has been started after
applying documents for registration of “Ukrainian National-Solidarity
Organization” party to the Ministry of Justice on 16, December
2004. And
it is clear, because UNSO
is: ·
not
a non-existent UNA of Edward Kovalenko, which was “reregistered” in the Ministry of
Justice in 2003; ·
not
a non-existent “Bratstvo” of Dmytro Korchynskyi, which was “registered” in the Ministry of
Justice in 2004; ·
even
not a non-existent “Party of Freedom”, which was “registered” at the end of 2004 (in
fact it was registered illegally because there was another party with the same
name – all-Ukrainian society “Freedom” that belonged to one famous and “loyal”
politician. We have witnesses of that “registration” so we can compare
both)… Thus
there are the questions: Is
there no any change or this change has not come yet?
